Affordable Masonry and Tuckpointing

Stone

There are many reasons why it is better to have a house built with masonry products  instead of a house made of wood, vinyl or other sidings. Masonry products include brick, stone, and cement.  Brick has a proven sustainable, strong and safe track reccord.  Brick can last over 100 years because it is very durable and can resist harsh weather conditions such as damage from wind and storms.

Masonry walls provide fire protection because they are non-combustible.  Because masonry walls are highly fire resistant,  they minimize the risk of fire spreading from within, as well as to and from neighboring buildings.

Masonry products are dense, which means they provide a highly effective barrier to sound and block out noise pollution. Other building materials are not as able to effectively dampen external sounds.

A masonry wall resists the penetration of water which makes it effective at preventing toxic mold growth.

Nothing beats the value of masonry.  Homes built with masonry materials have high thermal properties, and therefore cost less to heat in winter — and to cool in summer. You will also save money on maintenance. Research has also shown the resale  value of a masonry home is 6% higher than that of a non-masonry built home.

Stone has a wide variety of colors, textures, shapes and sizes that provide flexibility and endless combinations to create a range of distinctive looks to reflect your personal style.  Take a look at our samples below to envision how creative and beautiful your house can look.
